Moving files between directories on the FTP server

If you need to move files from one directory on the FTP server into another, there is no need to temporarily download them from the FTP server to your local computer, and then upload them back into another directory on FTP server.

Select the required files and/or directories in the SoftX FTP Client window then click on Menu, File then Move To (or press F6 on keyboard). In the window that opens up, input the full path of the directory on the FTP server to which you want to move them, and click on OK. Recursive directories will be moved automatically.
